CompassPoint’s Next Generation Leaders of Color (NGLC) program in Los Angeles this year
APPLICATIONS FOR 2015 ARE OPEN!
The application period for a new cohort of our Next Generation Leaders of Color (NGLC) Program is now open. We’re excited to announce that with generous support from The California Wellness Foundation, we are bringing the Next Generation Leaders of Color program to Los Angeles this year!
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Now in its sixth year, NGLC is a transformative leadership development program that builds leadership confidence, management competencies, and the ability to unleash organizational change.
CompassPoint has designed this program specifically for leaders of color committed to working with their community peers to drive social change.
View two powerful stories from past NGLC participants, who’ve shared their personal leadership journeys in video form here:
- “Humanity” by Angelica Resendez (2013-2014 alum)
In this video, Angelica Resendez shares what it meant to step fully into her whole self and the impact it had on her as she embraced her role as a social changemaker.
- “Push” by Yohana Quiroz (2009-2010 year alum)
Yohana Quiroz shares how her identity as a young mother with strong familial ties fueled her to become a driven and resilient leader.
